The book includes chapters and sections on 2SLGBTQIA inclusion in Wicca, anti-racism, cultural appropriation, including disabled and neurodivergent people, consent culture, Wicca and science, running a coven, and more! In light of recent events in the United States (anti-trans legislation and the erosion of trans rights) and the United Kingdom (a recent Supreme Court ruling which limited the definition of a woman to “biological women only”), I want to reaffirm the following: Trans women are women;  Trans men are men; Nonbinary genders are valid. Inclusive Wicca has always stood for the full inclusion of LGBTQ2SIA people in Wicca, and we will always affirm that gender is far more than biology, and that people’s own lived experience of who they are is valid. Although inclusive Wicca is not a formal organization, I think I can speak for everyone involved in it (and many others) to state our unequivocal support for trans people, and I invite anyone who agrees with this statement to co-sign it in the comments. I am nonbinary and I affirm trans and nonbinary rights.
